Rainy Day & Kiara White
Two palomino horses racing is rare sight to see. But this morning was the chance to see them working together. The last racing season wasn't that bad but this year was going to be different, we are planning on working harder than ever. The palomino horses were cantering on the track to leave some of the muscles relaxing some more.
Golden Grove was a natural in the gate, loading after the other Filly Rainy days. She wasn't seen on the track much, but this year was going to be different she would be on the track lot more. The horses were now in the gates getting ready to race each other, even though it was just a workout. Then those gates sprung open, and Golden Grove failed to break in time, and was behind Rainy Day.
Still this didn't fraze her as I know she would pick in time. The workout was generally slow, due to the fact both of the horses were closers. We were just behind Rainy Day's withers, until the final bend came into view. I gave Tegan the go ahead to make her move and break properly. I felt the speed going faster and her strides were going longer, it was totally amazing, it felt like I was flying.
We pass Rainy Day with ease who didn't have the stamina to fight Tegan for the lead. The lead was about two lengths until we passed the finishing line, it was amazing to see this filly improving, she was going to do well this season I know it. Rainy Day did well and had a lot to give on her race day and now the twin sisters were ready to race.
